Intermedica was established in August of 1989 in Quito, Ecuador. The objective of the company was to provide the Government Health Institutions and the Private Sector in the country with top quality medical equipment, products, and supplies. To date, Intermedica has fulfilled that commitment by representing top international manufacturers and securing exclusive distribution agreements. Intermedica is now recognized as one of the leading medical distributors in the country.

Intermedica is a family owned limited partnership with headquarters in the capital of Ecuador, Quito. The major cities of Guayaquil and Cuenca are covered by our team of sales specialists, and other regions of the country are covered by sub distributors.

Our international office is located in New Jersey, USA, serving as a liaison with the management of companies we represent while coordinating our import orders. This office is also responsible for new business development and strategies.

Intermedica’s highly specialized maintenance and IT departments provide continued support to our sales and additional technical support is handled by several local companies
